Shurq Keyword Tracker Extension: Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 July 2026. This policy covers the Shurq Keyword Tracker browser extension. The Shurq web application has its own terms and policies.
What the extension does
The extension helps Amazon sellers check keyword rankings, research products on search result pages, review geographic rank differences, and analyze product reviews. It runs only on Amazon marketplace websites and on the Shurq connect page.
Data the extension handles
- Amazon pages you use it on. When you run a rank check, Xray, or review analysis, the extension reads the Amazon page you are on and, for rank checks, fetches Amazon search pages inside your own browser session. Parsed page content is sent to Shurq servers to compute rankings and product metrics.
- Keywords and ASINs you enter. Sent to Shurq servers to run the checks you request, and stored locally in your search history and saved lists.
- Your Shurq account link. If you connect your Shurq account, the extension stores an access token tied to your account and sends it with requests so results and tracker updates belong to you.
- Review text for analysis. If you run Review Analytics, the reviews of the product you choose are sent to Shurq servers and processed with an AI model to produce summaries and themes.
- Settings and results on your device. Preferences, recent searches, saved lists, and cached results live in the browser extension storage on your device.
What the extension does not do
- It does not collect your general browsing history.
- It does not read pages outside Amazon marketplaces and the Shurq connect page.
- It does not sell your personal data.
- It does not collect your Amazon password or act on your Amazon account. Page fetches use your existing session only to read public search results.
Retention
Rank and product parsing on Shurq servers is transient: results are computed, returned to you, and held only in short lived caches. Keywords you add to your Shurq Keyword Tracker are stored in your Shurq account like any tracker data. Local extension data stays on your device until you clear it or uninstall the extension.
Sharing
Data is processed by Shurq and its infrastructure providers (for example Cloudflare for transport). Review Analytics uses an AI model provider to generate summaries. We do not share your data with anyone else.
Your controls
- Disconnect your Shurq account any time in extension Settings.
- Clear local data from Settings, or by removing the extension.
- Questions or deletion requests: email [email protected].
We will update this page if the extension's data handling changes, and material changes will be noted in the extension's release notes.
